While in the West Country we were invited to spend time on the narrowboat, Escapade, that Graeme and Jayne (left in the photo) passionately call home.  We eagerly accepted their gracious invitation to spend a few hours afloat on the Kennet and Avon Canal as they moved a couple of miles down the bank to another mooring location. Pastures Green

After what seems like an age of preparation, our long-term travels have begun. Our first adventure is a ten week trip to England.  We will spend time in Buckinghamshire, the New Forest, the Lake District, South Wales, and the West Country.  If everything goes to plan, we will do four housesits, two Airbnb, and stay with friends twice.  It should be a wonderful adventure, and we'll be living Dad's new travel book, A Life Designed.
